We are a small-town family-owned business with a full-service shop. This is a very unique platform; we have created a place for you to buy and sell without scammers. Real people, fair prices, hassle free, and honest business. Helping different regions and multiple locations around the country buy, sell, & consign. There truly is no store like ours. Offering but not limited to sales, service, rental & install, brick and mortar store as well as online sales, brokerage, and soon to offer rental services. Our online store has so much versatility and a platform that is unique. From Appraisals, to listings, consigning, purchasing, financing, and auctioning in the near future.

History:
This journey started in late 1989. It was my father’s passion to invent, create and engineer all kinds of items as a hobby to buy & sell. Over the years this turned into a shared dream for my dad and I, and we started to move into buying, selling and locating Equipment, Trailers, Generators, Motors, as “Premier Liquidators”. Over the years it has grown to “RNR Idaho” offering all kinds of Buying, Selling, and Consigning services. And now we have grown to “Homestead Power & Equipment” which offers sales, service, rental & install with multiple locations around the US.
For years we would sit and talk about having a shop one day, and how much that would mean to us both. Since my father passed in 2018, we have continued to grow into a full-time shop & online presence, as “Homestead Power & Equipment” offering services to Commercial, Industrial, & Residential contractors and customers. This is truly a lifelong dream come true and there isn’t a day that passes where we don’t talk, laugh, or reminisce, about how much my father would love to be here and see our dream coming true!!
About Us:
Owners Troy & Heather Nowell are both born and raised in small town America. Troy is from Sandpoint, Idaho and Heather Pella, lowa. Both went to college for business and have a wealth of knowledge over the last 28+ years owning and helping small to large businesses. Heather on the vision and marketing side, with Troy and his knowledge of the industry for 28 years, they make a great team. Troy and Heather have a beautiful family, in Coeur D’ Alene Idaho, with two sons, Nick the oldest, and Dawson as the little brother! They have two dogs, Nîna and Rōnî who go mostly everywhere with them. They are passionate about community and enjoy all things outdoors, sports and travel. It’s been an ongoing dream to make this shop a reality for Troy. It started when he was a kid watching his father’s passion that soon became his passion. In his father’s passing he promised to make this new shop a reality and Homestead Power & Equipment is certainly a dream come true!
A very special thank you to Ron Nowell where all this started and is now in remembrance. We miss you and hope you are proud of what we are continuing to build!
